According to Colonel Vladimir Kondrashev (a CIA agent inside the KGB), the Soviets have set up a secret base at the North Pole to study weather control. If the Russians could alter climactic patterns - to turn the Middle West, America's breadbasket, into a desert - they could create financial and then political havoc.
Kondrashev has also reported rumors of a "lost land" somewhere close to the North Pole!
The man for the job? The Death Merchant. His mission? Stop the Russian weather experiments! Find the "lost land"! But do it by not starting World War III!
